Despite an initially promising career, he also starred in American History X and Little Odessa, among others, Furlong’s legal troubles and drug abuse have permeated his life. In July of 2013, Furlong avoided a jail sentence by agreeing to go to rehab for drug addiction for 90 days, as well as undergo 52 weeks of domestic violence counselling.

Jaimee Foxworth (Family Matters)

After her character was cut from the family sitcom, Foxworth turned to porn. After her short-lived success, her character was cut after season 4 and never to be heard from again, Foxworth ended up with an addiction to prescription painkillers, alcohol, and marijuana. She starred in season 1 of Celebrity Rehab with Dr. Drew.

Jodie Sweetin (Full House)

Jodie Sweetin was the middle sister on the family sitcom Full House, and, after the show ended started using meth and drinking because she “was bored” – Sweetin says her alcoholism and drug use began because she had nothing to do after the series ended. Macaulay Culkin (Home Alone)

Haley Joel Osment (The Sixth Sense)

Perhaps best known for his break-out role in The Sixth Sense co-starring with such celebrity as Bruce Willis, Osment was first the cute little boy playing Tom Hanks’ son in Forrest Gump. In 2006, Osment pleaded no contest to misdemeanor DUI and drug possession after flipping his car while driving near his home.

Nick Stahl (Terminator 3)

Starring in such indie and box office movies such as The Man Without a Face, Bully and In the Bedroom, Stahl is perhaps best known for his role as John Connor in Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines In May 2012, he was reported missing by his wife and it was later revealed that he was battling drug and alcohol addictions that would lead to more disappearances. In 2013, three days after completing yet another rehab, Stahl was again arrested for drug possession.

Jeremy Jackson (Baywatch)

Jackson, who starred as David Hasselhoff’s son, Hobie on the lifeguard series, Baywatch left the series due to a struggle with drugs. He was later arrested for drug possession, which seemed to motivate him to clean up his act. However, Jackson returned to television in 2011 to appear on Celebrity Rehab with Dr. Drew for a steroid addiction.
